The November '08 election will be an historic presidential election. In addition to voting for the next president, we will have the opportunity to vote on a number of important measures and propositions this November: Proposition 8 would ban same sex-marriage in California. Proposition 4 would require young women under the age of 18 to notify and get the permission of their parents before getting an abortion. In San Francisco, Measure K would legalize sex trafficking and prostitution and Measure V would support the continuation of JROTC programs in public high schools. Do some research and study and use your voting power! If you are not registered to vote, click here to register to vote (it will give you a form to fill out and mail in). Deadline to register to vote in California is October 20th.
