| Center for Young Women's Development (CYWD) CYWD is an organization led and run entirely by young women in San Francisco. CYWD organizes young women in street economies and in the juvenile justice system to move beyond survival to become leaders and advocates. Their guiding principle is that young women are the experts on issues impacting their lives and they should be involved in running and directing the programs that serve them. CYWD is one of the first non-profits in the United States that is led and run by young women under the age of 26. |

CCDC organizes and advocates for low-income immigrant tenants to create safe, high quality, affordable housing in the densely populated neighborhood. CCDC was instrumental in the redevelopment of the International Hotel (I-Hotel) and the securing of residences within the building for low-income tenants. CCDC community organizer Rev.
