Lay & Professional Education

Hand in hand with regional and PSR-based leadership development events with youth and young adults, the project will offer consultative support and educational opportunities for clergy, youth workers, and church members invested in the development and enrichment of youth leadership and ministries through:

• Consultations
• Forums, colloquia
• Weekend seminars/workshops
• Week-long and semester-long seminary courses (for continuing education or for credit toward degree programs or certification)

Topics for exploration include (but not limited to):

• API youth identity and faith formation
• Theological and pedagogical foundations for youth ministries
• Educational ministries across the lifespan
• Congregational studies
• Mentoring
• Curriculum & resource development
• Cross-cultural/multicultural analyses
